The first door opened at Sorsogon. In Lee’s family hometown, the business started as a wholesale store. The original goal was to provide the basic necessities of the community so that they will no longer need to travel for hours to get the following such as household goods, medicines, garments, and electrical goods. Lee’s provided the products at the most affordable price for the Sorsoganon.
Late Founder Lee King Yek and his wife Liberted Lee made their business not for profit but to provide for families unable to travel to the city for their immediate needs. Rebecca Lee, today’s President and CEO, launched her career as the youngest cashier worker.
The Goodluck Store has been part of the daily lives of Sorsoganons for over 50 years and still lives up to its promise to provide convenience for the community!
